Job Summary

Join our team in an Indirect Procurement Professional role within the Indirect Procurement team supporting Corporate Professional Services, Human Resources, and Consulting Services in a remote capacity.

The position will assist with the development and execution of category plans, contracting and sourcing strategies that include industry trends, spend analytics, project pipeline, cost savings and resource planning activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaboratively implement strategies globally

  • Leads others to solve complex problems in Supply Management using analytical thought, exercising judgement, and identifying innovative solutions
  • Communicate difficult concepts and negotiates with others to effectively influence as appropriate
  • Lead the development and execution of category plans and sourcing strategies that include industry trends, spend analytics, project pipeline, cost savings and resource planning activities
  • Negotiate services agreements and statements of work.
  • Engage and collaborate with internal Legal, Risk, and Security Departments to ensure contract agreement compliance pertaining to legal implications; terms and conditions required to protect the company
  • Develop and execute cost savings strategies to support company goals and departmental commitments.
  • Deliver value to the organization through developing RFx documents, evaluating supplier proposals (scope, cost, timing, resource modeling, risk, etc.), supplier recommendation and qualification to ensure project success.
  • Participate in functional teams and projects
  • Lead QBRs and drive Provider performance
  • Support multiple domestic and international indirect spend categories including but not limited to Corporate Professional Services, Human Resources, Marketing and Consulting.

Experience Required

The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years of demonstrated performance in Professional Services competencies of Indirect Procurement: sourcing, category strategies, cost negotiations, and contract negotiation and management with an emphasis in Professional Services, Human Resources, and Consulting. In addition, they will have demonstrated experience in the following:

  • Excellent prioritization and project management skills.
  • Ability to lead through indirect influence.
  • Exposure to a global supply base.
  • Professional, clear, and effective communication to a variety of stakeholders via various communication mediums (written and/or verbal).
  • 3+ years of professional experience negotiating contract cost, quality and timing positions with suppliers
  • 3+ years of supplier relationship management including leading business reviews
  • 3+ years in strategic sourcing and RFx
  • 3+ years of professional experience negotiating complex contract terms and conditions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships based on trust, credibility, clear expectations and open communication
  • Must be a self starter
  • Change management

Education Specifications/Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business administration, or equivalent is preferred.

Travel Requirements

Position will require up to 5-10% travel for supplier visits, conferences, team meetings etc.
