Responsibilities:
- Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of our software products.
- Bug Identification and Tracking: Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through our tracking system, ensuring they are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Regression Testing: Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved to ensure no new issues are introduced.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Liaise with internal teams, including developers and product managers, to identify system requirements and ensure consistent project execution.
- Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies to continuously improve our testing processes.
- Quality Assurance Metrics: Contribute to the development and follow-up of quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts, to measure and improve the quality of our products.
- Design Reviews: Participate in design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems, helping to ensure quality from the start.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven work experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Test Planning: Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Testing Expertise: Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing. Experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Solid understanding of SQL and scripting, enabling effective testing and bug identification.
- Agile/Scrum: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process, contributing to fast-paced and iterative development cycles.
- Education: BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject, or equivalent practical experience.
